| Resumen: | This document contains amendments to DIN EN ISO 14689:2018-05, Geotechnical investigation and testing - Identification, description and classification of rock (ISO 14689:2017); German version EN ISO 14689:2018. DIN EN ISO 14689 relates to the identification and the description of rock material and mass on the basis of mineralogical composition, predominant grain size, genetic groups, discontinuities, structure and other components. DIN EN ISO 14689 also provides rules for the description of other characteristics as well as for their designation. DIN EN ISO 14689 applies to the description of rock for geotechnics in civil engineering. |
