| Resumen: | This part of DIN EN ISO 15875 specifies general requirements for piping systems made of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X) that are used in hot and cold water installations inside buildings for the transportation of drinking or service water (domestic installations) and for heating systems, taking into account the relevant permissible operating pressure and the temperatures applicable to the respective application class. This standard contains specifications for application classes relating to operating conditions as well as specifications for permissible operating pressures and dimension classes. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this standard. Together with the other parts of DIN EN ISO 15875, this part applies to pipes and fittings made of PE-X, their connections to each other and to piping components made of other plastics or metallic materials intended for hot and cold water installations. |
