| Resumen: | This International Standard specifies uniform procedures for the testing and evaluation of metallic pipe couplings, male couplings and flanged couplings for hydraulic applications. This International Standard is not applicable to the testing of hydraulic quick couplings specified in ISO 18869. The tests specified in this document are independent of each other and describe the procedure to be followed for each test. Guidance on test requirements and performance criteria is given in the relevant International Standard on the relevant component. For the verification of suitability of the connecting parts, the minimum number of specimens specified in this International Standard shall be subjected to testing, unless otherwise specified in the relevant standard relating to the connecting parts or agreed between the manufacturer and the user. |
