| Resumen: | This document specifies a horizontal method for the detection of enteropathogenic Vibrio spp. that cause human disease at or via the intestinal tract. The species detectied with this method are Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio cholerae, and Vibrio vulnificus. Amendment 1 adds performance testing of the culture media ASPW (alkaline saline peptone water), TCBS (thiosulfate citrate bile and sacrose agar), and SNA (saline nutrient agar). |
