| Resumen: | This document specifies the application of the FMC/TFM technology for the ultrasonic testing offusionwelded joints in metallic materials of minimum thickness 3.2 mm. It's is applicable only tocomponents with welds fabricated using metals which lead to isotropic (constant properties in alldirections) and homogeneous conditions. These classes of materials include welds in low carbonalloy steels and common aerospace grade aluminum and titanium alloys, provided they arehomogeneous and isotropic. |
