| Resumen: | This standard introduces a series of twelve basic international standards describing various methods for determining sound power levels of machinery and equipment of all types. It comprises - brief summaries of these basic international standards; - assistance in the selection of one or more appropriate basic standards applicable for the particular type of machines or equipment. This standard helps technical committees in drafting noise test codes assists manufacturers of machines and equipment in determining the sound power level if a specific noise test code is not available. |
