| Resumen: | This document specifies a horizontal method for the enumeration of coagulase-positive staphylococci by counting colonies obtained after aerobic incubation at 34 °C to 38 °C and coagulase confirmation on a solid medium (rabbit plasma fibrinogen medium). This document is applicable to products intended for human consumption; products intended for animal feed; environmental samples in the field of food and feed production and handling; and samples from the field of primary production. Amendment 1 corrects the scope of application and makes the previously mandatory specification of the measurement uncertainty in the test report optional. |
