| Resumen: | The doctortest described in this standards is used for the qualitative determination of mercaptans (thiols) and hydrogensulfide in hydrocarbons containing aromatic components. The test is not suitable if peroxides are present in the sample at concentrations which cause interference. This can be checked by a simple reaction with potassium iodine solution in acetic acid and a few drops of starch. Der in der Norm festgelegte Doctortest dient dem qualitativen Nachweis von Mercaptanen (Thiolen) und Schwefelwasserstoff (Hydrogensulfid) in aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen. Dieses Nachweisverfahren ist jedoch nicht anwendbar bei Anwesenheit von Peroxiden in störender Konzentration. Durch Reaktion mit Kaliumiodid-Lösung in essigsaurer Lösung unter Zugabe einiger Tropfen Stärke-Lösung kann nachgewiesen werden, ob Peroxide in störender Konzentration in der Probe enthalten sind. |
