Idiomas disponibles: Inglés
Resumen: This DIN SPEC 91421 specifies requirements for the quality and safety of recycled fertilizers from starting substrates of human origin for use as fertilizers or for soil improvement. The products that can be manufactured from the contents of dry toilets include stored urine (e. g. NH3-sanitized urine, struvite, aurin, ammonium sulphate-deflated urine), compost or fermentation products from human faeces with defined additives, or pelleted or carbonised faeces. This DIN SPEC is addressed to: — Start-ups and SMEs in the market of innovative sanitary systems; — recycling companies that want to produce and distribute recycled products from dry toilet contents; — multipliers who are working on steering the development of regional circular economies and the transformation of the sanitary sector; — decision-makers in politics and administration, and — consumers who use recycled fertilizers in horticulture. This document can also serve as a guide for users who produce their own recycled fertilizers and want to check their quality. This DIN SPEC does not include process instructions and/or treatment procedures.
