| Resumen: | This DIN/TS is part of a series of technical specifications dealing with various devices for combustion air control and regulation, hereinafter referred to as ACA. An ACA in the sense of this DIN/TS takes over the functions of combustion air adjustment automatically over the entire combustion, from fuel loading during the reloading process to the end of the last combustion cycle, without the need for operator intervention. The stove operator's influence is reduced to fuel loading, ignition phase and measures for burnout. ACAs have a significant influence on the function of the fireplace and the quality of combustion and must therefore be taken into account during type testing. This DIN/TS deals with ACAs with currentless operated controlling/regulating units and actuators such as bimetal ACAs or capillary thermostatic ACAs. This document describes details on how to carry out the safety, nominal heat output and, if applicable, partial load heat test of the fireplace using the ACA. The DIN/TS is to be used in conjunction with the harmonised standards of CEN/TC 295 according to the type of appliance. It is planned to introduce the DIN/TS as a basis for standardisation in CEN/TC 295 and to use it as a template for the development of a corresponding annex of the EN 16510 series of standards for the assessment of ACAs. |
