| Resumen: | This Technical Specification applies to the manufacture of sensors and transmitters for overfill protection devices and components for self-contained overfill protection devices in stationary and stationary-use containers with water-polluting liquids. This Technical Specification specifies requirements and the relevant test methods for the components of an overfill protection system. DIN EN 13616-1 and DIN EN 13616-2 in conjunction with DIN EN 16657 apply to containers for liquid fuels filled from road tankers. The requirements for electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, functional safety and for use in potentially explosive atmospheres are not covered by this Technical Specification. |
