| Resumen: | Regardless of the type, size or sector of an organization, this guideline shows various ways in which the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14001:2015-11 can be implemented for life cycle assessment. Companies or organizations that have had little or no contact with this topic so far are given a first orientation here. Organisations with experience in product life cycle assessment will find information on how this instrument can be used within the environmental management system and in relation to the entire organisation. Furthermore, auditors of certification bodies will also find practicable starting points for assessing the life cycle assessment of organizations in the sense of DIN EN ISO 14001:2015-11. For users of DIN EN ISO 14001 without previous experience with product life cycle assessments, the guide offers an insight into the various forms of life cycle assessment, each of which in itself can be a starting point for a more detailed life cycle analysis. This document does not give any recommendations for specific tools and procedures for life cycle assessment, as the appropriateness of a tool can only be assessed in the context of the respective organization. |
