ISO 5172:2006

ISO 5172:2006 specifies specifications and tests for blowpipes for gas welding, heating and cutting of metals. It applies to manual blowpipes for welding and heating with a nominal thermal power up to 32 000 kcal/h, and manual and machine cutting blowpipes with a cutting range up to 300 mm.

ISO 5172:2006 does not apply to air-aspirated blowpipes which are covered in ISO 9012.

L'ISO 5172:2006 spécifie les spécification et les essais des chalumeaux pour le soudage aux gaz, le chauffage et le coupage des métaux. Elle s'applique aux chalumeaux manuels pour le soudage et le chauffage d'une puissance calorifique nominale allant jusqu'à 32 000 kcal/h et aux chalumeaux coupeurs manuels et aux chalumeaux coupeurs machines correspondant à une plage de coupage allant jusqu'à 300 mm.

L'ISO 5172:2006 ne s'applique pas aux chalumeaux à aspiration d'air qui font l'objet de l'ISO 9012.
